But nothing means as much without Luna Hale. The sci-fi-loving writer. A weirdo. Sister to his client. The only one he’s fallen for. To be with Luna, he has to ensure it’s totally, completely, unmistakably safe. That starts with taking care of his family—the family he walked away from as a teenager. He knows he’ll survive. He can survive anything. But this time, he just wants to survive with her. Take an epic cosmic journey with Luna & Donnelly through heartache, hope, darkness, love, and an unceasing light—where the bonds we make are what power us through time.

i was afraid i wasn't going to love it or something after find out what the "surprise trope" was but tbh after part II it got a lot better and the angst and the cuteness was really cute between donnelly and luna so not mad about that trope!
loren still is the best man ever and his banter with donnelly is my favorite right ow idk what it is but they're so fun together, i loved it!! then xander my baby beautiful man xander deserves the world, he needs his book asap like the cobalts brothers!! everytime they were on scene ir something i just wanted their book, they're so ugh love them! moffy and farrow still are my favorites for sure and farrow and donnelly's connection is beautiful and tho they're not brothers by blood, they are brothers and I love it, also oscar the man!! and quinn and frog's little banter and some crumbs made me also want their book uh and now they're working together even more close so let's go!!
overall, i really liked the book, the second part a little more then the first but yeah, it was a good book, not the best but read it fast like I knew I would and loved the moments with luna and donnelly, they had angst and him reminding her about their connection and her finding out her feelings and finding herself again, it was cute, can't wait for the last one!
I didn't liked this book as much I liked the previous one. The plot wasn't really that interesting and didn't like how the story unfolded. Because of that I felt like all the development, all the story from the last book was for nothing.
