Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

A Blood Alliance short story, best enjoyed after reading Rebel Bitten. Once upon a time, humankind ruled the world while lycans and vampires lived in secret. This is no longer that time. This is not a love story. This is about desire. No, not even that. It’s about f*cking. Harsh, hot, violent f*cking. There’s blood. There’s biting. There’s a heck of a lot of moaning. Some screaming, too. I’m not an easy lover, but I am a thorough one. This is meant to be just a taste, a brief glimpse into the darkness of my mind. There’s a reason Ryder chose me as a progeny. I’m more like him than anyone may realize. Yet I have my own proclivities as well. Welcome to my world, loves. I hope you enjoy this hot little bite. And if you do, maybe you can convince the master of the pen to write more. Just don’t ask for a relationship. That’s not in my repertoire.

At the end of ‘Rebel Bitten’, this book was suggested, and honestly, I will take any little piece of this world I can get. It is utterly addictive and perfectly twisted.

This was a quick read but it explains further some of the events of ‘Rebel Bitten’, and gives more insight into Damien while promising still more … I’m excited to read on in the series.

Though short, this one is no exception to Foss’s absolutely perfect attention to detail regarding her worlds … and it manages to be hot as well.
