Recs if you like Asterix the Gaul (Asterix, #1)...

Books from various countries that are staples of classic international childhood literature.

I work at a bookstore and sometimes I bring people into the middle grade/ya section and am like...hey...I know we are above the age of 13, but trust me, these are amazing 10/10 and you should read. These are some of those books :)

Also feel free to suggest your favs too! Especially the ones that you never hear anyone talk about!!

I'm a huge graphic novels reader but I often feel like graphic novels (like manga, the genre of romance, etc.) are not seen like real litterature. As if they were something inferior.

I would like to prove you wrong with that small list of graphic novels (completely subjective, I admit) that, in my eyes, are worth a try.

Most of them are considered to be classics by graphic novels reader in France. Some of them are just books I wanted to share. The main target audience is all public.
