not quite vestal virgins, virgin men in romance
Unsullied. Undefiled. Uninitiated. Untouched. Chaste. Pure. While the tired trope of virginal and inexperienced women abounds, particularly in historical romance but even in contemporary works, virginal men are much less common. With stories that can be refreshing and joyful, or not (lol), this list brings together heroes whoβve done little more than kiss. (Some of them havenβt even done that.) All romance sub-genres are included, except YA.

Light/Green Academia
Dark Academia's lighter and cozier counterpart. Mostly fantasy and nature books.

Soft Male Leads
Some people like their male leads to be alpha chads. I'm not one of them. I like them soft. I like them anxious. I like them doing traditionally female jobs and roles and hobbies.
Mostly romance because that's what I read but other genres present.
Usually just adding the first volume in the series unless they are stand-alones or have distinctly different focus/MCs (most romance series).

men that sound like the song 'delicate'
romance book heroes that are gentle, shy or nerdy in every sub-genre

Girls in STEM
Fiction books about women who are smart, capable and really into science.
