Recs if you like This Is Our Rainbow: 16 Stories of Her, Him, Them, and Us...

in progress

Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

For my favs / read, check out my other lists & shelves.

Open to suggestions for more titles.

Don't shoot the messenger.

Short story, essays, comics, and/or poetry collections focusing on queer and trans folks. Please note: there are some collections listed where not every story is queer, but there is intersectionality, and since that is important, I have included them.

A list of anthologies focusing on LGBTQ+ representation. :)

Books with pride flags on the cover art! Or using other design elements to obviously evoke a pride flag.

A mix of fiction and nonfiction. Recs welcome.

This is a list for all ages of helpful books for education, homeschooling, and deconstructing your own worldviews with a focus on social justice and diversity. These titles are ones I have personal experience with. Many of the young reader editions have "adult" editions for deeper study.
