I don't think I hated this as much as the people who read the books as they were coming out. I already kinda knew where things were going based off of things I've had people tell me so the ending and epilogue wasn't all that disappointing for me. Not to mention, I appear to not be on the same ship as everyone else and I'm GLAD that ship didn't sail. I didn't want that couple together and I'm glad they weren't.
Overall, the series was very interesting. It's a very quick read (I think I read all three books over a 5 day period) and the paranormal aspects really added to the enjoyment of the story.
