Family isn't always defined by blood. Sometimes family is born of love, loyalty, and choice. Sometimes the bond that comes from someone having your back through the shittiest of times is stronger than anything you get from genetics, and sometimes you find that piece of your soul you didn't even know was missing. I'm a lucky guy like that. I found a love that will never fade. I found a group of people who aren't just my friends; they've become my family. There's only one place to go from here. I'm gonna bind myself to Rimmel in every possible way. I'm gonna bring our family even closer together. The past has taught me it won't be easy, but that's okay. Family doesn't quit each other. Love like ours never dies. Happily ever after isn't just for storybooks.Contains mature themes.

Overall, these books are just okay to me. I like them, I don't love them.
(Tbh, at this point I am STRICTLY here for Trent and Drew. I think I almost fell over when Drew referred to Trent and himself as "superbros.")
The entitlement they all have is kind of annoying? Like, I get it's supposed to be this, oh they're a strong family and they protect each other and they'll do anything blah blah. But like, why do they think they're above everything? Like they can just show up at the hospital and make demands and not follow protocol like everyone else?
Also, she spends WAY too much time describing what the girls are wearing. It's like 12-year-old fanfiction, spending paragraphs talking about how her hair is styled, what the shirt and pants look like, what jewelry she has on, how her makeup is done. I'm like, "Hi, yes, I don't care for a detailed description of what her dress looks like." Is that just me?
Trent getting too drunk and sleeping over in Drew's room... yeah, see, this is the content I have breezed through six books for. And when I'm finally done, I shall be rereading Junkie and crying myself to sleep.
