How do I even begin to say how much I loved this?!
First things first I'm so glad my book club chose this as our final Samhain / Halloween romance read!
Ada and Ulgan are utterly adorable, this is a very sweet romance and well it is on the lighter side it does have some content warnings to keep in mind so please check that out before you read.
Overall I absolutely loved the writing, the story, the well-layered personalities, and most especially the banter not only with the main characters but also the side characters it made for multi-layered relatability.
Ada has been hurt in her past and Ulgan is just the orc to give her a fresh start, I loved the Cozy small town vibes and can't wait to read more in this world/town and from the author!
I tend to read dark romances but I have to say that this is probably my favorite read of the season and I would highly recommend that people check it out.
