The good thing about comics is that villains aren't plain and simple.
Specially in gotham. Bad guys here are not just evil, they're truly psychopaths. And the worst part is that most of them don't have powers, they're just humans, who are so broken minded that is all they need for causing pain and sorrow.
Enygma is one of the complex ones and is really nice seeing him planning and waiting for the big detective to come.
