Recs if you like Mismatched: A Modern Graphic Retelling of Emma...

LGBT*+ graphic novels / comics / manga +

Fluff to smut, including 18+ etc aka not exclusive to anything specific other than being queer content (queer & queer-rep inclusive stories). I have read a good handful of the ones now at the bottom of the list. Includes intended middle-grade-ish-level youth content to adult audience content.

In progress / updated over time. Mostly serving as an all-in-one-spot list until Pagebound figures something out that works well for multi-genre/format exploration. :)

(recs highly welcome) Attempting a highly exhaustive list.

Books that adapt, retell, and pull inspiration from Jane Austen's works.

A list of queer graphic novels! 🥰 I'll update this list as I go. Some of these have queerness as their main topic and some have queer side characters. For series I only added the first volume. (Edit: in "Dungeon Club" queerness becomes a more important topic later on in the series.) I'm happy to add stuff, feel free to comment! 🌟

lgbt+ graphic novels, comics & manga

Mix of fairytales, Shakespeare, classic works, and myths

There are a lot of quests out there, and there are a lot of great graphic novels (and comics) in said quests. Here's a complete list (in progress) of all the graphic novels and comics that count toward quests!

Please send any I miss :)

Remixes and retellings of classical books

In the mood for a graphic novel but still wanna earn those badges? I gotchu! ⚠️List under construction!! Please drop any books I should be adding in as I continue collecting from various quests⚠️

If I loved Emma by Jane Austen less, I might be able to talk about it more

Aka “Emma” adaptations and retellings, because that’s my emotional support problematic fave

If you have recs, please let me know :)
