Incredible Fantasy You've Probably Never Heard Of

Some of the covers are terrible - especially among the older or self-pubbed books; there's a few YA in here; and some that are science fantasy rather than 'pure' fantasy. But trust me: they're all EXCELLENT. (And if you already love a bunch of these, let's be friends!)

Toxic Not-Quite Romance
Focused on character relationships (canonical or subtextual, romantic or erotic) and where one or more participants knowingly put the others in positions of emotional distress. Who needs enemies when you have an unhealthy charged relationship with that one guy? Content warnings typically include psychological manipulation, dubious consent, and distressing situations. Typically tragedies, but occasionally have something like a happy ending.
