It was great to finally find out what happened with Teddy and Piper when they went missing in the Covert Affairs duet and my heart broke for Piper as she found her answer about Asher but it wasn't the one she expected. As always there is a lot of emotions to go through and at times I wanted to put my book down and walk way to cool down lol. At times I felt Piper should just be with Derek and Finn can go find someone else and then I felt Piper deserved more than both of them as she at times appeared on the outskirts of the guys relationship. So not only do we have the struggle of love and who to be in love with, there is also the need to bring down the 'Z's' who were the catalyst for all Asher, Piper, Seth and Teddy went through.

This is the 2nd book of the Downfall of Us duet, must read The End of Me first for the best enjoyment. Well, you have to feel all of the emotions and angst along with the rest of us, so read it first!

The emotional hangover I have now that I have finished this story, I cannot describe. I have laughed, cried, growled, groaned, growled and cheered at various points in this story. I have been frustrated with characters and then also cheered when things worked out. Piper, Derek and Finn had me pulled in so many different directions, and that's great writing. I was in from page 1 and that never flagged!
