It’s always nice to feel like a normal person by reading about those more unhinged than you 😌 These are all women focused books. Some I’ve read and some I’m going to read. Apologies in advance if it gets long. Recommendations are absolutely welcome!! So please feel free.

I know a couple are written by men which might be taboo for some but I’ve included because I thought they were appropriate or the author has a track record of writing women well.

Books that challenge reality in all the best ways! From SciFi and speculative fiction to horror and literature these books are true escapism. Most I have read and loved some I’m most definitely going to read. I’m sure not all will be for everyone and that’s ok! Just wanted to share a little weirdness 🤓

I felt a tinge of that Fall Breeze last night so I’ve been listening to the album in anticipation of the colder seasons. This album is the epitome of “to disturb the comforted and to comfort the disturbed” and I was inspired to create a list of books that evoke that.
