I really enjoyed the format of the book being mainly in the past with Light telling the story of his life and then having interludes on the present to being it all together. It took me a bit to get use to Lights slang, however once you catch on to it is makes the reading a bit more fun and enjoyable.

Life as a Blood Lifer has never been an easy road for Light as he doesn't just fall into line and do as he is told, he likes to rebel at times and does not like to be told what to do. In Blood Dragons you see how conflicted his life becomes when he meets Kathy who doesn't want a bar of him and Ruby who is his maker and whom he loves changes to someone he doesn't know anymore. Light must not only decide what to do about Kathy and Ruby but also about the dark secret he has found and not everyone may make it out alive. There is a lot to take in while reading this book but it never feels rushed and you can really picture what you are reading.

I look forward to reading the next book in the series!
