Recs if you like The Lost Apothecary...

books that transport you into gentle adventures and charming worlds (with a side of life-altering epiphanies and self discoveries)

Books in this list are in at least two quests. Thus helping to earn more badges. Books will span different genres. Once I scan through all the quests, I plan to further organize the list. I am thinking of creating a seperate list and moving the books with three or more quests to the new list and keeping the two badge books in this list. Are there other ways you would organize a list this big?

Fiction (and some non-fiction) across genres featuring plagues, poisons, palace physicians, healers, and pre-antibiotic chaos. If it involves herbs, plagues, questionable remedies, court intrigue, or a morally complex healer experimenting in the corner, I want it.

For every reader out there who's tired of being met with toxic/misogynist behaviour in stories that is presented as acceptable, or even romantic, and those who want to learn about the female perspective. cinematically written books that you just KNOW, if they make it into a movie, they're going to mess it up despite ALL THE DIRECTION BEING RIGHT THERE.

Cozy books that are perfect to read when you're feeling emotional and want to fall into a warm story with memorable characters

books when you're not sure if you'll like fantasy. Most are real life + a little magic.

Some books for when the real world gets to be a bit too depressing (please note I think crime is always cozy as well)
