A Reverse Harem (MFMM) Alien Romance The Zandians have taken back their planet. Now they need brides. All human females have been assigned to mates. Yes, mates, multiple. I've been given to three handsome males--cousins. Huge, purple and horned, they act like they want to eat me for breakfast. After what I've been through with previous slave masters, I don't know how I'll survive this. But I have to. It's adapt or be sent off-planet, which would mean my death, considering I'm wanted for murder. My mates cannot find out I'm not able to reproduce. I need to keep my secret, figure out a way to survive, stay focused. But when the Zandian warriors claim me, they make me forget my past and scream with pleasure. I can't let myself fall for them. If they learn my secret, I'll lose more than my life. I'll lose my heart.

What is it with the trope of having the MMCs insist several times that they would never touch the FMC without consent and giving the FMC sexual trauma… Just to have the MMCs sexually assault the FMC?
Genuinely, does this author think by making them repeat they wouldn’t assault her, this somehow makes the assault… not real?
They are actively holding her in place and eating her out while she is terrified and telling them no. That’s not dubcon just because her body reacts to it, that’s noncon with body betrayal.
She is also a slave under extrem duress with no other choice than to accept a group of men claiming her as theirs. She is literally not given a single choice in anything, yet they “would never force her.” Mhm. Stfu.
The way the MMCs talked about her is absolutely fucking disgusting. It’s men like these that make me read fiction to find good men, they act like your average frat bro rapists.
After reading reviews of the people who finished this (my condolences), apparently they later physically abuse her for every minor rule break?? A woman who has been a slave her entire life… AND SHE LIKES IT? FUCK OFF MAN.
Sick of bs like this.
Other reasons this book pissed me off:
- Overuse of the in-universe curse “veck/vex” (not sure about spelling since I only listened to audiobook). Literally every other sentence it is used, made me want to bash my head into a wall
- Since I was spoiled and know the ending: the entire set up premise is that she can’t possibly be a good mate because she is infertile, but in the end she is magically pregnant anyway. Final nail in the coffin
