I admit that I rushed book 5 just to get to this book faster because the little peeks we got of Kazia in other books had me very intrigued.
this book... was so-so. I reaaaaaaaaaally like the characters, especially Kazia duh. Lucien is cool, I liked him from previous books already and the fact the Whisper showed up so much again was the biggest bonus ever.
The age gap is never mentioned so everything is good over there.
It's just... the love. Kazia falling for Lucien? okay. But Lucien my boy... he forgot he was a war prisioner way too fast lol
He went from military commander and dragon rider to wannabe assassin in a matter of seconds. Also, instantly falling in love with the enemy prince that has throughtly humilliated because "you see him" is very ooc for any proper military nationalist like he claimed to be.
Whatever... I just made use of that little thing we all readers need at times like this "Suspension of disbelief" and voilà!
oh oh... the ending had me laughing... but not to hard because by then my disbelief had been suspended for hours and I was ready for anything.
This is more of a three star than 4. But I really really REALLY liked Kazia as a character. My sweet cinnamon roll carried the plot of three and a half books on his lavender shoulders. I love him to the moon and beyond
