0 0This won’t be a new favorite of mine. There was a lot going on here. We had a troublesome ex, death threats, and an actual murder suspect on the loose. It was a lot to keep up with along with trying to read about the romance between Maxim and April.
The romance between them was fast. They met once when they were kids and I guess that always stuck with them. Because once they met again as adults, it’s a relationship from that day forward. I know a lot of people might not enjoy that aspect of it, but I love me a quick, no fuss romance. Maxim was the type of hero from ARR that I look forward too. Alpha, possessive, and downright in love with his girl.
I’m a big lover of this series, so I guess it’s just a case of “you can’t win them all”. I’ll be looking out for the next one though and hope I enjoy it.
