Butcher & Blackbird meets My Roommate is a Vampire by way of Fargo in a fresh and funny paranormal-horror rom-com about a woman who unwittingly becomes a vampire and her mortician husband who helps out when the bodies start piling up; thus rekindling their relationship. Francesca Sikorski wasn’t planning on becoming a vampire, but she doesn’t exactly regret it either. When a car accident on a snowy highway cracks her amber mosquito pendant open like a cursed Cadbury Egg, she's bitten by an ancient mosquito that saves her from bleeding out on the street but leaves her sun-sensitive, ravenous, and slightly more murder-y than before. So sure, there’s an adjustment to be made. But on the plus side, her chronic pain and dead bedroom are things of the past! Alex Sikorski would do anything to rescue his rocky marriage, but now that his wife's undead, they have new problems to navigate in couple's therapy—like hiding bodies, stealing blood from corpses, and figuring out whether his wife might be a literal monster… or finally just herself again. Between covering up a kill or two (okay, three), Alex and Francesca certainly have their work cut out for them.
