Librarian's note: Alternate cover edition of ISBN 9781460326404. Wanted: Adventurous, open-minded man willing to try anything… As a popular sex blogger, Beatriz gets paid to have orgasms. So being on deadline the week of her sister’s wedding isn’t as rough as it sounds. There’s just one hitch: Bea’s assignment is to write a review of a sex position manual, but she doesn’t have a plus one to play with. The good news: Ben, the one who got away back in college, is also attending stag--and he's as temptingly gorgeous as ever. The bad news: Ben turned down Bea’s offer of graduation night sex five years ago. The best news: He’s not planning on making the same mistake twice. * A red-hot retelling of Much Ado About Nothing for people who love Shakespeare but thought his plays could use a few more sex scenes. Super quick (and fun!) read. Didn’t love it but didn’t hate it either. I’m surprisingly ambivalent about this.
I did love that the MC was a latina. No stereotypes came into play which was very refreshing. She did kind of overreact near the end for someone who claimed not to like holding on to grudges, but I let that one slide.
Ben was a complete sweetheart and I loved how he owned up to his mistake. Not everyone can admit that and make up for it. My favorite couple was actually the secondary one: Claudia and Henry. So much sweetness, so much fun and so much humor in those two.
I would've appreciated a bit more development when it came to Ben and Bea outside the bedroom. While the sex was incredibly hot, I felt I needed a bit more emotional connection between these two. Also, LOVED their attitude concerning sex. It upped the temperature even more during the sexy scenes.
