this is book two in the language of magic series.

anna may have survived the attempt to bind her magic, but she and her coven aren’t free from danger just yet. between everything she’s juggling—her aunt’s death, her curse, her tricky love life, and now a witch hunt—the last thing anna wants is to conceal her magic yet again. soon, she and effie have to work together to protect the coven, even though they’re not entirely sure they can trust one another.

i really enjoyed this! reading about anna and her coven’s journey throughout all the messiness they were faced with was a wild ride. also, i’m very glad i read the novella before this! sometimes, novellas are optional or able to be read last, but i would recommend reading the hedge witch before this book.

i can’t wait for book three!
