Recs if you like Lady Knight...
Fantasy books you can read instead of Harry Potter
JK Rowling is a bigot who uses her platform to hurt transfolks and other marginalized groups (plus she literally just quoted Mein Kampf on the bird site). If you're still supporting her in 2025, don't bother talking to me.
the way of the knight
upon entering into my apartment, you will find a beautiful copy of ethan hawke's rules for a knight... that should tell you everything about me.
Tortall Series
Each set of 2-4 books follows a particular character with appearances of familiar faces from other books, but these series don't have to be read in order of publication to be enjoyed. Highly recommend First Test or Terrier as fun starting points!
Exploring Tortall and neighbouring lands
Tamora Pierce's Tortall series, and associated works. Let's explore all the land has to offer. All books in English, where possible graphic novels are included. Includes: Beka's quartet, Alanna's Lioness quartet, Daine's Immortals quartet, Kel's Protector of the Small quartet, Numair's books (still in progress), Aly's Trickster duology and short stories.
