Sophie is such a fierce and resilient FMC. After her mother dies, she is uprooted and moves to California with a father she never knew. But there is definitely something not right about her father. Then there are the 1%ers at school who are out to make her life miserable. Preston and Barrett are jerks, although hot. They make her an outcast at the school. I love how Sophie doesn’t react how they want. Thankfully, the series is complete, so I can go download book 2 right away, because this does end with a cliffy!
