Recs if you like Frontier...

every struggled to find actual lesbian/sapphic books when at the library or bookstore? so did I!

bc of said struggle, I started to curate a personal list of books that either has lesbian MCs and/or featured a primary sapphic romance.

i haven't read all of these, but I do try my diligence in confirming that they meet the above perimeters, since many books claim to be sapphic when they're not. this is an ever updating list, only fiction for now!

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

if a book is part of a series, I'm only listing the first book just so the list doesn't get overrun.

All are very welcome to this list, but I've geared it towards my fellow neurospicy folk with busy Brains who need some high dopamine sparks from their books...and for it to not take forever for us to read a book and we lose our interest/hyperfocus 🤣🥰

I got a request for a list of sapphic fiction/romances with ambiguous covers that wouldn't be flagged by their country's customs and subsequently tossed. Thought I'd post it here, in case it might benefit someone else!

the novels on this list explore the faultlines of the american west, lingering in its borderlands, refusing its colonial myths. some of them reimagine classic wild west fiction tropes, while others refuse the terms of the western altogether. title from lil nas x ofc :)
