This book was a great read. It was an intense gripping love story that slowly develops. I loved how to love aspect of the story wasn't rushed like it is in so many other books. Although I think some of the things that Katie and Alex did where a little unpractical such as invited an almost stranger to spend the day with you kids. I enjoyed every character in one way or another. The writing dealing with Katie's husband made me mad and annoyed by him. He was a great anatagonist. Kristen added just enough life to the book. My favorite quote from the book is "Kristen had begun to yawn as the movie progressed, but every time Dory appeared on-screen, she managed to chirp, “She's my favorite, but I can't remember why." This quote show alittle of the humor that Kristen brought to the novel. It was written very well and was easy to follow. Since I had the audiobook addition I would like to also say that the women who narrated did an amazing job at showing the differences between character. My favorite voice that she made was Katie's husband.
