0This is the first book in this series and there is a cliffhanger. I loved Cassie in the previous series so I was excited for her to get her own story. I had so much fun reading about her interactions with Shadow, Sinner, Zeke, and Ethan. Her relationship with each of them is so different from all of the others, partially because they are different, but also circumstances make them have to interact in a certain way. But Cassie knows what she wants and she is willing to be in a relationship with any or all of them, if only they would cooperate. What she knows for sure is that she wants someone who is going to let her be who she is and have her back. She's tired of being taken for granted or treated as a little girl and she's not going to tolerate that anymore. I can't wait for the next installment of this story!
