This text contains a range of influential readings from feminist theorizing. Divided into eight thematic sections, the readings have been selected in order to examine not just the textual and discursive nature of colonial and post-colonial discourse in relation to gender, but also the material effects of the post-colonial condition and practices developed in relation to it.
