I live a normal, boring life. Work. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. The only joy I get is the brief rushes of adrenaline that only come when I’m on my motorcycle. Then I’m saved by the five men who seem unperturbed by the whole incident, I can’t pretend that wolf shifters don’t exist anymore. With their help and guidance maybe I can navigate this new world. Hopefully in time to stop whoever is after me

Emeray moves around a lot trying to find where she fits. She’s been in this town for a year and is working as a waitress when 5 guys show up one day. Stone, Kai, Krew, Zeno, and Reed are looking for their alpha and are surprised to find Emeray is their mate and alpha. After a betrayal and Emeray finding out about shifters, they whisk Emeray away to an academy. I really liked how Emeray turns their life upside down. I do wish they explained more to Emeray about what it means to be an alpha, as she just seemed to be figuring it out as she once. I really didn’t like Reed, and I feel like he needs to do a lot of groveling for me to like him - and maybe some pain. Considering Emeray didn’t know about shifters, I also feel like she handled. Finding out about it a little too well. But overall, I was hooked and am excited to see what happens next.
