The premise of the book drew me in - I'm a sucker for a good vampire story. (Pun only partially intended). However, I struggle with books with too many POV's and six was just a bit too many. I kept getting lost as to where we were in the story and what we were doing. I think if this had been simplified a bit and cut down to 2-4 POV's it would have felt more manageable.

With that said- if you like vampires and numerous POV's- definitely give this book a try. Setting up a new fantasy world is always a challenge for an author and I think future books in this series will be lovely.

I read this book thanks to NetGalley but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
