Recs if you like The Omen...

you definitely don’t want to babysit the kids in these books!! these are some bad kids, some might even say evil kids, like they’re possessed by demons or something, think Damien from The Omen or the twins in Goodnight Mommy

as always, taking any and all suggestions!

Books that were adapted into movies (not tv shows). Let's make this list as long as possible!

(going to only add the first book in a series)

Inspired by reading Paperbacks from Hell (by Grady Hendrix), I wanted to broaden the horror novels under my belt. I might have grown up reading King and a little Koontz (and way too much Pike and Stine), but there are so many fascinating titles that predate those greats. Feel free to suggest older horror books and why they'd make a great addition to this list in the comments.

Books from chapter 2: Creepy Kids from Grady Hendrix’s nonfiction book Paperbacks from Hell. This chapter focuses on books about creepy kids- including possessed kids, killer kids, dolls, clowns, magicians, and adults imagined horrors of d&d (dungeons and dragons)

Creepy kids (Let me know any recs to add to this list!)

Decent to amazing scary reads
