Being trained by the Assassin's Guild in Ankh-Morpork did not fit Teppic for the task assigned to him by fate. It had its fair share of wackiness typical for the Discworld series but also felt more serious at times compared to the previous books. Lovely concept - using pyramids as beacons to bend time and space and all the other dimensions. The bit about the assassins was also funny and I'm curious to see if Teppic will return in other novels.
