This is sort of a weird story, because I thought it was going to be more of a romance book? But L is sort of a dick, and isn't NOT being one even by the end...
I find the different cultures to be interesting though, and that there is a grittiness that is a cool element (I've felt like I've read many books where there are good guys and bad guys but the actions and setting are pretty tame).
The book sort of ended very unfinished, so I'd have to continue the series to learn more, but I'm not totally sure I care that much...
