I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

I’m aiming to read 100 queer graphic novels, so here’s my list of the ones I’ve already read and the ones I plan to read. There might not be 100 books on the list yet, as I’m still gathering them all together.

I have spent years curating a list of graphic novels for myself on goodreads and I thought this place would be great to share it and share my love for graphic novels. I’m not picky about the plot or topics of the graphic novels I read so the list is pretty much any graphic novel I have heard of regardless of topic. Many are middle grade or young adult as is the general trend of the format but recommendations for more (especially adult) would be greatly appreciated.

Also manga is not included.

These are some of my favorite comic series adapted as graphic novel series that don't come from Marvel or DC and don't involve a bunch of superpowered humans or aliens beating each other up. There is some aliens beating up other aliens in a few of these comics but they're more barfight-level than world-saving fisticuffs.

I know there are some comic book lists out there, but I was thinking about making a list of comic book series I think people should not miss (or books I would put in a Starte Pack type quest). I am excluding graphic novels and focusing on multiple-volume comics. I am only adding the first volume of each.
