There are four main parts to this book: a daily, weekly, monthly cleaning system; how to clean things (i.e., oven, showerhead, etc.); recipes for DIY cleaners (with vinegar, baking soda, etc.); and many checklists (spring cleaning, paperwork, annual schedule, etc.). There is nothing earth shattering in the book, but I like having all of this info in one place that I can easily pull it out and reference. I use the how to clean and recipe sections the most. The checklists are also helpful to review. As a working mom, the schedules have been least helpful. Having specific areas to clean each day is a great thought, but often doesn't happen and we clean on the weekends.
The most accessible and least overwhelming housekeeping book I have read so far. The process is broken down in a way that is easy to start and add on to as you go. Love this book for how successfully I've implemented and maintained the routine.
