This one fell flat for me. And it took me way too long to read for as short as it was. Kane was very protective and very obsessive, but it was almost like he was doing too much. However, the world that was created here was very interesting. And the idea of radical humans who want to eliminate shifters and even going so far as to steal their babies and sell them on the black market is interesting but dark. The idea of an upcoming war between humans and shifters is interesting. And dark. But I don’t know if it’s interesting enough to bring me back for the next book.

This was just okay. Smutty parts were fine but I definitely wish there was more world building when it came to the paranormals, the Great War and their reappearance.

Would be great if you're just looking for a quick, sexy, shifter romance with minimal plot though
