Recs if you like Purge...

The Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) have some amazing books filled with stories inspired by the countries occupations by the Soviet Union, their hardships, their resilience and their resolve to revolt and find their independence. Not a lot of people know much about those three states let alone about their literature.

I have attempted to make this list with books that I believe need to be discovered and read by more people!

Open to recommendations

Some of the most iconic Finnish books every Finnish person has read or at least acknowledge as timeless classics.

P.S. These authors have so many other captivating books but the ones chosen are the most popular of the bunch. Some books didn't have an English translation here but they're still worth reading if you're able to.
