Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic / lesbian characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

Nothing like a good sapphic book that keeps you on your toes

Being part of a sapphic book review podcast and running a few different review sites focused specifically on published and unpublished stories, I've read so many older books and femslash. I've forgotten how good some of them were, even though they may be dated. I would love to have younger generations be exposed to these books. And it's also for all us oldies who still have our favorites pop into our heads and make us smile. I hope this list rekindles a love for some of the founding members of modern sapphic romance.

My personal must read lesbian romances/series only the first book in the series are listed unless I felt the book was a must read on its own inspired by the amount of DNF I've been having to do on the main sapphic quests
