Limiting this to fantasy/sci-fi, these are books where the MCs are locked up for most of the book or it's a crucial part of the plot. This can include magical prisons, cursed towers, institutions of sorts, and probably more!

The two love interests are forced to get cozy sharing one saddle for part of their journey to their dismay and our absolute delight.

This list is for all spice levels. As a note this may not necessarily be a big part of the book as this is a microtrope. Recs welcome!

These books are my read book I consider a good slowburn with lots of tension that had me kicking my feet and actually wanting the spice to happen.

There is desire for one another before the spice but it is not hot and heavy until at least 60%-80%
