癒し系 | "healing" fiction | a genre of gentle, slice-of-life stories that focus on comfort and emotional restoration from ordinary human troubles, often featuring whimsical elements. This list will focus on works of Japanese and Korean literature, rather than manga or illustrative media, that fall into this genre.

Books where memories are lost, gained, preserved, encountered, or otherwise altered through means that are not of this world. Work in progress, suggestions always welcome!
