Opportunity doesn’t always knock. Sometimes, it crash lands. A veteran of the Resource Wars, Raze is a cyborg with a simple plan. He wants to be left alone, forever. Planetary scout Sevda Rem is light-years from civilization when her ship is damaged, forcing an emergency landing on an unoccupied planet. At least, it was supposed to be unoccupied … He’s trespassing on a corporate-owned planet. She’s duty bound to report him. The deck is stacked against them, but if they play their cards right, they might discover that together they hold a winning hand.

I picked this up at random and it was okay …
Very interesting premise as far as the world and I think I’d like to see more. Not very advanced characters, but this is a super short read, so maybe that’s all there was time for.
The writing was fun at times, but cheesy at other times. The steamy scenes were very tired and cheesy, I think this author’s strengths maybe lie more in world-building and they’d produce better overall reads if they didn’t attempt to depict the sexy parts.
Would I read more from this author based on this?
Maybe. I’ll possibly go back & check out more of this world before deciding whether I’d be interested in their other ventures.
3 stars.

This was also okay. Not bad, nothing to write home about. Not a narrator I’d seek out, but one I can tolerate in small doses.
