Recs if you like Cursed Princess Club, vol. 1...

I have spent years curating a list of graphic novels for myself on goodreads and I thought this place would be great to share it and share my love for graphic novels. I’m not picky about the plot or topics of the graphic novels I read so the list is pretty much any graphic novel I have heard of regardless of topic. Many are middle grade or young adult as is the general trend of the format but recommendations for more (especially adult) would be greatly appreciated.

Also manga is not included.

graphic novels (and a lil manga, the occasional picture book…) — fantasy or otherwise — with a fairytale vibe.

Graphic Novels and Series that started as Webtoons/Webcomics

Read the first few volumes online before committing to purchasing them. Most can be found on webtoon. (incl. Graphic Novels listed)

I love YA. It can suck pretty bad when the books try to copy each other. But when some of those gems pop up...wowza! Who knew you could tell such a hard-hitting story without having to resort to 1,000 pages & sex?

The title explains itself.

E.g. Books that center women, particularly women’s friendships, wlw relationships, women’s resistance and survival in the patriarchy, women of color, queer womanhood and queer women, sisterhood and sisters, white women who reckon with their privilege, and women’s power and strength and fortitude. These books usually don’t cover all the topics at once, this is just the range at which the list includes.

Webtoons that originated from wattpad or vice versa. When these two work together.
