Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

Multigenerational family/chosen family narratives! Books with multiple POVs from different generations within communities.

Queer joy focuses on thriving rather than just surviving, highlighting self-acceptance, connection, and the reclamation of space in a world that often seeks to erase queer voices. Tragic queer stories are beautiful, but we deserve to have our fun, love and happiness!

Books with short chapters!!! I started a challenge where I read a super long book a chapter-a-day and annotate it using a study guide! I found that annotating short chapters is super accessible and not overwhelming at all for me, so I wanted to share this list with anyone that wants to start over-analyzing their books :) I included a variety of stories because HOW you read is as important (if not more) than WHAT you read!!!!
