whimsical, meadowy, fantastical reads inspired by a @notbillnye comment on/description of Nettle by Bex Hogan

I have spent years curating a list of graphic novels for myself on goodreads and I thought this place would be great to share it and share my love for graphic novels. I’m not picky about the plot or topics of the graphic novels I read so the list is pretty much any graphic novel I have heard of regardless of topic. Many are middle grade or young adult as is the general trend of the format but recommendations for more (especially adult) would be greatly appreciated.

Also manga is not included.

soft and sweet and whimsical ! (the story/characters/world/atmosphere must be a bit canon-ly pastel)

eg cloud spirits, water nymphs, mountain spirits, and more

lyrical and evocative, to be at one with nature

novellas, poetry, graphic novels

A collection of books that are low stakes and full of beautiful scenery!

Complete list of graphic novels I've read across multiple genres and maturity levels. Includes standalones and series.

Read at your own risk. Some are good and others let's pretend they don't exist.

Recommendations are always welcome, feel free to comment.

cozy mystery, horror comedy, witches, fairies, thriller

Need to finish your montly/yearly goal? Starts summoning graphic novels 💫 (multi-genre options included)📔

Some titles may be more suitable for mature readers. Please feel free to leave a comment if you'd like some guidance☺️

*Nb: Not all are standalone, some are a series🌼 Webcomics listed below have been published and have print editions🏵

A few excellent graphic novels for kids! These books are mostly for Ages 6-15, but some vary. Double-check first before recommending them to a kid, you don't want to accidentally give a book that's too hard to read for them. It's already hard enough to encourage their love for reading without making it harder than it has to be! But, these are all still very good for reluctant readers.

masterlist of recommendations from booktuber allison paiges, THE cozy booktuber 💐 (list in progress; will be slowly adding as i rewatch their videos)

cozy wholesome, doctor mirto prescribed just for you

as someone who is working on my own graphic novel, these comics give me so much inspiration and the art styles are just to die for💕
