• would love any and all suggestions *

I love reading indie sci-fi and fantasy and think more people should too! This is a list of some of my favorite indie books and some that I am looking forward to reading.

adult romance books with prominent autistic characters!!!! (all cannon, in text, or confirmed by author)

queer? yes. fall? halloween? spooky? fantasy? mystical? all and more? yes probably?!

These books have lgbt+ representation in them even if sometimes it's not the main focus or the leading couple. It's important to me to have a list that has variety and of not just stories about love but also those exploring gender identity and about those who don't experience love the same way like asexuals and aromatics. So far thare's a lot of sapphic books as well as quite a few books w/transgender mc's.

Romantasy but for the gays. Fantasy in this list includes: magic, fairies/fae, mythical, mystical, supernatural.

my personal favorite autistic leads in romances (as an autistic)

romance novels and novels with romantic subplots that actually have some substance to them

Books that might sometimes be sad but still left my happy.
