If you ask someone what apocalyptic fiction they've read involving zombies, there's a fair chance most or even all of that list will have been written by cis men, because they're the books that get the most publication & promotion in the genre

Note: Not specifically a list of good LGBTQ+ representation (though many of them absolutely are, and many are written by queer and/or trans authors!). But I have not read all of them (yet), so this list doesn't inherently imply my recommendation, as such.

Apocalyptic reads with a big focus on found family. This list meshes all kinds of apocalypses, zombies included.

Recommendations extremely welcome - gimme alllll the found families surviving together! 😍
