Two people from completely different worlds are about to be thrown together... In more ways than one. She wants to keep her scholarship. He wants to stay on the team. An awkward alliance doesn't even begin to cover Rimmel and Romeo's relationship. But that's about to change. It starts with a dare. An initiation. A challenge. Quickly, it turns into more. But when you're a victim of your status, there is no room for anything real. The rules are clear and simple. Stick to your circle. And never fall in love with anyone on the outside.

Maybe 3.5? I enjoyed this, but it was nothing special. I was just really glad Ivy and Missy weren't mean girls because that would have just been too stereotypical.
There were a couple of things that were a little annoying. Like, bro, she said she didn't want to wear the sweatshirt. Stop forcing her to wear it. Why is this something that is cute and romantic?
There was one other thing that had me like, eh. But I actually can't remember what it was. Of course. Surprise surprise.
Mostly I was just living for Trent. My angel. My son. My bb. There was no mention of Drew, ahem ahem. BUT IT'S FINE. Will I continue to read this series because I want to read the iconic moment where they meet at Screamers, so then I can go back and reread Junkie and Rev and cry myself to sleep.
This book was surprisingly better than I expected. I think it was pretty great take on the nerd/jock romance. More depth than I expected for it too. I felt refreshed not having a virgin MC.
