One of the best sci-fi books I've read. I loved the humor and the relativity all subjects get even if it is the meaning of life.
Well aware that is simply the first book in a series, this novel gives you a good introduction to the galaxy, the species that inhabit the vacuum of space and the realization that they are somewhat familiar to what we have on earth. And that is the biggest achievement of the story, the criticism on society through unconventional methods.
As a huge fan of the absurdity and nonsense this was a welcome addition to my mental library, meaning, of all the books I've once read. Say what you want about the novel, it sure is one of a kind. Nothing can be quite like this. Suggested for all the fans of comedy and sci-fi out there, this one is good.
