Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

He’s everything I don’t want or need wrapped up in one sinful package. He’s gorgeous, unpredictable, and his ego is even bigger than his impeccable reputation as the Crusader’s star center. However, I knew he was a jerk my first day as the new athletic trainer. He wasn’t afraid to throw out the word nepotism during our first meeting. But, little does he know, working for my dad is actually my biggest nightmare.Yet, behind the arrogance lies an attraction I can't ignore. My heart races every time he enters the training area. The conflict is undeniable; my dad's star player is the last man I should desire, for it could cost us both our careers. But as fate intertwines our lives, the magnetic pull grows stronger. An injury and unforeseen circumstances force us closer, blurring the lines between what's forbidden and what's irresistible.Every stolen moment carries a risk, yet we can't resist each other.Boundaries crumble, and passion ignites, leaving me to question if rules are meant to be broken. In an adrenaline filled world of secrets and stolen moments, we must decide whether the love we've found is worth risking it all…

    Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Wesley has fought and clawed to get every single thing that he's ever had. He's less than thrilled, then, when the coach's daughter is introduced as a new trainer for his hockey team. He thinks that the whole situation reeks of nepotism and he's determined to not like Aspen (Daisy). Daisy puts up with Wesley being an ass, even though she wishes that he would give her a chance to prove that she wasn't just given the job. She's trying to prove herself too (her dad wants her to do this job, she is to prove herself but it's not what she really wants to be doing). There are also some issues with her ex and him still wanting to control her and what she does even though they aren't together anymore. When Wesley and Daisy finally have a heart to heart and learn to be vulnerable with the other, they see that they actually have a lot in common.

I loved these characters, especially because they grew as the story went along. It might have just been because they both learned that they believed in the other, but they really opened up. They dealt with the issues they were faced with and backed each other through them.
