Contre toute attente, Raphael propose à Elena de l’accompagner en ce lieu. Archangel's Heart is easily one of my favorite books in the serie.
Nothing really happens, Raphael and Elena go to Lumia for a Cadre's meeting and Elena tries to find out who her ancestors are. There is no battle and nothing terrible happens with the Cascade.
But that's why I like it: it is one of the few books that focus truly on Raphael and Elena's relationship and where nothing tragic happens. It almost feels like having an insight of their normal life.
However, despite the lack of action compared to other books, there is still a plot that makes this book not boring. I felt the creepiness of Lumia and was really intrigued by what was happening there. The ending made sense while still being a bit unexpected.
I also liked that we learn more about Aodhan even though he isn't as present as I thought he would be. It makes me want even more a book focused on Aodhan and Illium.
