There was so much suspense, tension banter and lies. Love and lies with a shit load of sarcasm, the grounds for an epic, mafia driven, story. Decker and Kiera were so good together. I loved seeing the other characters as well throughout this book. I felt so much for the main characters in this one with all the trauma that unfolded - I saw it coming but it was so well written that it still hit me in the feels. The bond between Kiera and Torian was so strong, you really could feel their love for each other and their family.
I’m not sure if I want to read Torian’s story because I actually hate Anissa so much in this. Yes, she probably appeared in this what four times?! It doesn’t take much to piss me off I guess. But maybe that’s the point? Idk. An insufferable character. It was bound to happen I guess. I like every other character in this (Apart from the bad guys ofcourse). Luca I see you.
